David’s current activities

As of April 2023, these are my priorities:

• Family and Health
• Trainer for One Training in Ulverstone to help people find employment.
• Tas TAFE Course - TAE40116 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (Assessment Cluster)
• Teaching Micro:Bit and STEM at the HIVE. Started a weekly STEM Club.
• Teaching LEAN Simulated Work Environment at TMEC Manufacturing Centre of Excellence in Burnie https://tmec.com.au/about/centre-of-excellence/.
• Training in CPC40120 Certificate IV in Building & Construction (Site Management). This is an 18 month building course.

My goal is to fill STEM gaps from Kinder to Y12 and have students finishing school be work ready in the industry and then once they find their place, be supported through university. There is soo much happening in Tasmania right now, and we need highly skilled people everywhere.
